Easter Basket for an Infant? Yes indeed!

Yes, I know Skylar will only be 3 months old on Easter; but, I just can't resist doing an Easter basket for her! Creating an Easter Basket for my baby girl will be worth it for the photo ops alone! No, it won't be filled with candy (that would only get eaten by me, lol!). But it will be filled with cute goodies!

I want to get her a classic Easter basket that can be used for her whole childhood. Upon a recent trip to the mall with my dear friend Amanda, we stumbled upon Pottery Barn Kids' adorable Easter display! We both decided right on the spot that we would create Beatrix Potter inspired baskets for our kids this year! I remember loving the Beatrix Potter stories as a little girl and can't wait to share them with Skylar.

Here is the basket I want to get with a monogrammed liner. A classic that will look beautiful for years to come!

While I haven't ordered the basket just yet (on my list of things to do!), I have started shopping for my items to fill the basket!

So far, I have ordered this Beatrix Potter plush toy set from Gilt group. What a fabulous deal! It is a $40 set that I got for only $28 on Gilt. If you are not a member of Gilt, please feel free to use my link to sign up: Gilt Invite. They have some great deals and you can earn credits when someone signs up through you and makes a purchase. These will look so cute peeking out at her from her Easter basket. I need to scope out more of the "Easter Basket" sale at Gilt. There are a few other things that caught my eye...

I am also wanting to order this Beatrix Potter book set from PBK...

Besides these items, I have picked up a few things from Marshall's...a bunny rabbit teether and a "Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail" board book. After the basket and liner purchase and the Beatrix Potter book set, her basket will be all set! I will post the completed Basket after Easter! :)

Thanks for reading! What are you going to put in your child's Easter basket this year?

XOXO!
